We are proud to present the first electric bus built in Ecuador, specifically designed for Isla Baltra. This advancement showcases our commitment to sustainable mobility.

The new Lobito bus not only transports passengers and luggage without generating pollution but also recharges with solar energy. With a range of 300 kilometers, it offers a safe and comfortable journey. Additionally, its 360-degree cameras protect the ecosystem throughout the route, allowing us to detect local wildlife along the way and ensure minimal impact.

Made in Ambato, it is 100% electric with zero emissions and noise. It is undoubtedly a significant investment, but we believe Galápagos is worth it.

Our new uniforms made from 1,766 recycled bottles!

We acquired 210 new garments from Planblu Ethic Wear, an Ecuadorian textile company, made with polyester from recycled plastic, organic cotton, and bamboo fiber. The buttons were crafted from coconut, and the fabrics were dyed using a digital printing process that uses 0% water.

In addition to being eco-friendly, the design also considers Lobito’s active personnel, featuring shirts with ventilation, waterproof pants, pre-formed knees, multiple pockets, and stylish reflective vests that are crucial for road safety.

Lobito’s units feature Euro 5 engine technology, a generation designed to significantly reduce emissions of pollutants such as nitrogen oxides and fine particles. 100% Electric Units

The next big step for LOBITO is to incorporate a 100% electric bus into its fleet, which will be charged with energy from solar panels that we generate ourselves through our own photovoltaic plant.

Our buses depart on their route with a 20-minute interval, or if they fill up before this time, remember on Lobito buses, only seated passengers are allowed.
